BIOGRAPHY

Elena Aceves finds joy in the small things.

As a lifelong artist, Elena made the decision when she was young not to pursue an education or a career in art, fearing that turning a passion into a career would sap the joy out of the creative process. She instead pursued a career in law and eventually began practicing as a tax attorney.

Over time, Elena realized that work could be fun. And creative. And bring joy to her and others. And so she found her way back and began creating.

As an author, illustrator, and artist, she focuses her energy on the positive-- the small things in life that bring people joy and everyday relationships that give life meaning. Her approach and output are constantly evolving as she hones her personal style. No matter what, Elena Aceves approaches each project with complete enthusiasm and total dedication.
